The Flin Flon Firemen hosted their Beat The Chief competition at the Flin Flon Firehall last Friday.

7 Firefighters tested their skill and fitness wearing full gear and carrying a hose up and down an obstacle course in intense heat in front of a good crowd who gathered tro watch the festivities.

Jordan Reykdal was the top finisher this past Friday with a time of 1:35.69, ending a three year run for Les Taylor who placed second at 1:39.48.

The rest of the times were Kevin Kemp at 1:43.67, Dan Hotel 1:51, Morgan White 1:51.96, Travis Pfoh 2:09.82 and Nathan Elliot at 2:38.25.
