The Trout Festival Month Long Fishing Derby which took place from May the 29th to June the 29th announced their winners at Beaver Lake Day on Sunday.

 

Around 100 anglers took part in the derby this year and won a lot of fabulous prizes.

First place- Cory Merasity- 32.75 cm- $1500.00

Second- Leon Wiebe-30cm-$500.00

Junior- Forest Ritchie-24.5cm

 

Burbot- 6 entries

First- Jayden Oulette-29.5 inches- $1500.00

Second- Ray Lavis-29 inches-$500.00

 

Trout- 16 entries

First- Gerry Robertson- 41.25 inches- $1500.00

Second- Lee Baker-39.5 inches- $500.00

Junior- Beau Fidierchuk-35.25 inches
