47 Diplomas Were Handed Out Last Night At Hapnot

 

Students were honored for their hard work and dedication over the past year as diplomas were handed out to 47 graduates at Hapnot Collegiate yesterday  afternoon.

 

The largest award,  the Hudbay W.A. Green Bursary for the highest average for 35 hundred dollars went to Gianna Watt who also received the Governor General Bronze Medal for the highest academic standing.

 

Gianna Watt also received the the William Friesen Memorial scholarship along with Maia Bellisle. The Flin Flon Kinette bursary which go’s to a son or daughter of a Kinette or former member went to Jordan Hucaluk.

 

The Flin Flon School Division presented a bursary to the top student attending a technical or community college and was presented to Dax Lawrence. The Sparling Trophy which is awarded  to a grade 12 student who contributes most to school life while maintaining a good academic standing and selected by all staff members from Hapnot Collegiate went to Olivia Fernandes.

 

A new bursary this year, the Colleen McKee Community Volunteer bursary was presented to Piper Sapergia Green.
