It was a memorable year at Many Faces Education center as 16 students received their diplomas Wednesday afternoon in the school gym.

 

School principal Jodi Pawlachuk reflects on a great year for their different programs. " We had a wonderful school year, the graduates have come a very long way overcoming lots of challenges and obstacles to get their diplomas this year. We grew a lot with Elder Margaret Cook who  spent a lot of time at our school this year. We did some extra curricular events including making ribbon skirts and learning how to drum, making drums and performing. So we grew a lot together and they taught us a lot and I know the elders and teachers taught the students a lot. It has been an amazing year and we are very happy for their success, but we are also sad to see them go but happy that their future is bright and they will keep on shining and make the world a better place."

 

The Founder’s Bursary was presented to Kaydon Jesso for one thousand dollars and the UCN scholarship went to Jordan Charlette Standingready for one year’s tuition. USW Local 7106 scholarship was presented to Albert Lehman Maniel and the CUPE Local 8600 went to Kadence Eyres.
