Creighton School held their graduation yesterday and 32 graduates received their diplomas for the 2022-23 school year. A total of 50 scholarships and bursaries were presented.

 

The top awards were the Hudbay Scholarship for two thousand dollars for four years which went to Miranda Andrusiak. The BGC Engineering Earth and Sciences Underground  Award went to Marcus Kennedy for two thousand for the first year and five thousand for the second.

 

The Val Madarash Memorial Bursary went to Mackenzie Trumbley for two thousand dollars and the Fred and Pearl Shwaga Memorial Bursary went to Sadie Joa Hall and Destiny Bishop for two thousand.

 

The Creighton School Foundation Awards for one thousand dollars  were presented to Grace Dubinak- Aboriginal, Academics were presented to Talissa Alexander, Lexus Altman and  Miranda Andrusiak. Arts also went to Miranda Andrusiak, Athletics to Grace Dubinak, Medical to Destiny Bishop and Trades and Technology to Tristan Nivon.

 

A brand new bursary was handed out this year, which was the Colleen McKee Bursary for one thousand dollars and that went to Talissa Alexander.
