The month long Trout Festival Fishing Derby is winding  down with the final day tomorrow. Remember you can stll  hit any lake or stream on both the Manitoba and Saskatchewan side, north of the 54^th parallel.

Trout Festival President Dianne Russell says they have had a lot of people go fishing and have a lot of great prizes to give away. " We are very excited with the amount of participation , we have had lots of juniors this year, lots of big fish being caught.  We have lots of secret prizes including secret lakes in an envelope, secret sizes in a envelope, secret ages. We want people to be recognized for what they are doing and we have great sponsorships. Please go to the Trout Festival website and you can see all of our sponsors and we honor them there."

Fishing will wrap up tomorrow at noon and you can still get derby tickets at the Creighton Town Office, Village Of Denare Beach and Tempo Gateway in Flin Flon. Cash prizes will be awarded in the Walleye, Burbot, Northern Pike and Trout categories as well as lots of hidden prizes.
