The Flin Flon Neighbourhood Revitalization Corporation is once again getting set to put up their hanging baskets of flowers on Main St. FFNRC Executive Director Laurence  Gillespie lets  us know how it all happens

“Well basically they arrived in the city as of yesterday – I just helped unload them off the truck and we are very thankful to Hudbay and the City of Flin Flon. And we are also supported by the Province in this. They are a kind of petunia that’s specially designed for heartiness to survive in a container or basket environment. And we are hoping to have them up in the next few days “

The FFNRC also facilitates grants to community groups of up to $5000 for projects that follow their mandate of bringing people together. That can include funding for housing, culture, recreation wellness, safety, and beautification.
