A local organization is looking forward to new members for the upcoming year.

Ham Sandwich theatre group held their AGM on Sunday. They put on two shows this past season with A Double Texas Christmas  in November bringing in $3445 in gross revenue. And “A Red Plaid Shirt” – the production in March garnering $2450. Leslie Fernandes will serve another term as president and wants to let the community know that the group is open to anyone who wants to contribute.

 “We need lots of people who are interested in theatre to come forward; whether its acting or behind the scenes. Maybe you’ve been to one of our productions and are interested in getting involved but you don’t know how – reach out to Ham Sandwich. Come to auditions. Reach out to any of the other members. We have lots of roles for backstage,being a prompt,helping with costumes – a lot of ways to get involved. Ham Sandwich is excited to be a part of such a vibrant arts community so show your interest and get involved.

The other members of the executive are Alain Lachappelle as Vice –President.  Laurie Bellisle will serve as Secretary and Diane Therien is the new Treasurer.  Ham Sandwich operates under the umbrella of the Flin Flon Arts Council and is in the process of confirming the next production with the goal of putting on a Children’s play with auditions upcoming in September.
