The Streets were full on Sunday

Flin Flon Pride wrapped up a week of events on Sunday with their annual parade. Jordanna Oulette, executive director of the Pride committee considers the event to be a success.

 

 “Yes, this was a great success. The weather was very beautiful for us. We had about a hundred participants, 8 floats , with lots of walking groups. It was all in all great. The City of Flin Flon put in a float for the first time. We marched with the mayor – it was a great day. “

 

Cash prizes were handed out to the best entries.  Frontier Collegiate won best float receiving $100. Community Youth Resource Centre won best group for $75 and Cassidy Amenita won $50 for Best Dressed.
