The Northern Neighbors Foundation will be holding their annual grant awards next week at City Hall and the President, Jane Robillard says it is going to be a very special night.

" On Thursday at 6:45, we are moving into Council Chambers and we are going to hand out $156,000.00 worth of grants. We will be handing out grants for the entire area which includes Flin Flon, Creighton, Denare Beach, Cranberry and Sheriden. We will have juice and cookies and looking forward to having a wonderful evening. The public is invited to come, it will be an opportunity to find out more about philanthropy and that's what makes Northern Neighbors work."

The travelling  Witness Blanket on loan from the  Canadian Museum For Human Rights will be on display that night and Northern Neighbors is looking for more people to join their board.
