City Council held their regular meeting last night at Council Chambers.

 

Council passed a few resolutions including the tender of the demolition of 16 houses and derelict buildings in Flin Flon that have been abandoned or gone to tax sale.

 

The City has also passed a resolution to partner up with Vitreo Group to develop and implement fundraising strategies including working with the new Aqua Centre campaign.

 

The Fire Chief also gave his report for April and mentioned that they had five incidents to deal with including one structure fire, two EMS Lift Assists, one motor vehicle collision  and one false alarm.

 

The total fire loss for the month of April was estimated at 0.

 

The Flin Flon Fire Department also reported that they put together a driver training proposal, Norman Community Service Inspection and environmental emergency plan for Stitco.
