The Flin Flon Station Museum has opened for another summer at the Flin Flon Tourist Bureau and campground. Joe Buie who is the Museum Chairperson welcomes all visitors and any citizens here in the community to come and get a glance at Flin Flon’s rich history.
"There is a lot of history in the museum with the pioneers that started our community. Hudbay also has their own spot that talks about the hostory of mining. It follows along with the early pioneers how they survived and made the community what it is today."
Bouie went on to add that the museum will be doing an official grand opening in a few weeks and will be introducing something brand new this year, which will allow you to view Flin Flon and it’s history virtually. The hours are 1 to 6 Monday through Friday til July the 1st, then 10- to 6 after July the 1st.
