On January 5^th Kara Fosseneuve was reported missing in Flin Flon.  On the 9^th they reported she was found deceased in a garage. The RCMP report the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner completed the autopsy of Fosseneuve and the cause of death was due to exposure.

The RCMP note as there have been widely shared social media posts and news articles on her death with speculative information contrary to the investigative facts they have released more details.  They explain the investigation has determined that sometime in the early morning hours of December 31^st Kara left a residence on Dadson Row and made her way to Green Street.  It is believed she then entered a garage located at the rear of the property to take shelter where she succumbed to the elements.  They add there is no evidence of criminality.
