The Northern Neighbors Foundation had applied to the Moffat Family Fund to support local area projects.  Grants approved this year include 3 thousand dollars to the Channing Recreation Association to purchase an Atco trailer to serve as a warm up shelter for the outdoor skating rink, 48 hundred dollars for the Flin Flon Ski Club to purchase trail grooming equipment, 10 thousand to the Town of Creighton towards upgrades to the Lions Spray Pool, 43 hundred to Simon House Bible Camp to purchase paddleboards, 35 hundred to Creighton Community School to purchase and install permanent wall matting in the gymnasium, 5 thousand to Flin Flon School Division towards redevelopment of Queens Park, 3 thousand to Special Olympics towards development of Bocce Courts in Flin Flon and 3 thousand dollars to Joseph H. Kerr School in Snow Lake towards the purchase of a 3 D printer.
