A local writers work hits the stage in Winnipeg

CFAR 590’s Raphael Saray returns to Winnipeg this week to produce a performance at the Winnipeg Fringe Festival, the third largest Fringe Festival in the world.  Saray says the play he wrote is called Shakey Must Die and it’s a dark comedy about room mates who conspire to commit a murder and they hope hilarity ensues.  He adds it stars a group of people he went to the University of Manitoba with as well as instructors and directors from the Canadian Mennonite University and the University of Winnipeg, a gaggle of amateur and professional talent he has conned into working for him.

The performance takes place at the Manitoba Museum during the Fringe Festival that runs July 17th to 28th.
