Host Vale Manitoba Operations finished in second place, which also received the First Aid and Written Exams awards.

Meanwhile, Hudbay Snow Lake went home with the Firefighting and Technicians awards.

With the win, Hudbay Flin Flon will be participating in the bi-annual National Western Region Mine Rescue Competition in September 2023.

Next year’s Provincial Mine Rescue Competition will be hosted in Snow Lake.
