Committee Chair Dianne Russell reports this year’s fishing derby runs from tomorrow to 12 noon on June 30^th.  She says there are some new features including two ways to be part of it through the Fish Donkey App and it’s called Trout Festival Fishing Derby on there or they can go to Gateway in Flin Flon, Di’s in Creighton or Twick’s in Denare Beach and get a regular paper ticket and included in that is the tape measure and the rules noting the rules are on the Fish Donkey App and if you need a tape measure just go to the Municipal Office and they’ll give you one as well.  She adds they’ve got 15 hundred dollars for the top fish so they’re doing four species so 15 hundred each and lots of other prizes and the other great thing is the Trout Festival is partnering with Denare Beach and people can fish on both Manitoba and Saskatchewan lakes between the 54^th and 55^th parallels.
