Flin Flon is hosting the 46^th Northern Juried Art Show Thursday through Saturday. The Show’s Ellie Spencer says they have 125 entries from artists across the north.  She explains there are nine categories and two of them are youth categories and the theme for this show overall is The Water and The Wild and there will be a prize for the best piece representing that particular theme.  She adds there will be first, second and third prizes awarded in each of the categories, then a prize for Best in Show and then a prize for the People’s Choice Award which will be announced Saturday when the show closes.

The show is open for viewing in the Flin Flon Community Hall Thursday starting at 6:30 for a reception and prize awards, Friday noon to eight and Saturday from 10 to 4 with no admission charged.
