Manitoba public health reports 537 laboratory confirmed cases of COVID-19 for the week of May 15th to 21st a decrease from 738 the previous week. The total number of reported cases now stands at 144,140. Of the new cases 288 were in Winnipeg with 50 reported in the Northern health region down from 90 the previous week. The volume of lab tests decreased to on average 704 people tested per day compared to 766 the previous week and the positivity rate was 15.4 percent a decrease from 18.5 percent the previous week. There were 122 hospital admissions down from 149 the previous week and 21 ICU admissions up from 16.
