The Flin Flon Trout Festival Will Be Even Better This Year with Help From a Government Grant.

Manitoba Municipal Relations Minister Eileen Clarke has announced the Trout Festival has been conditionally approved to receive a grant from the Building Sustainable Communities Program.  Recreation Manager Andrew Smith says the Committee will make good use of it.  He explains they got around 12 thousand dollars for the Trout Festival this year and it’s meant to ensure that this event can continue sustainably in terms of them purchasing stuff and make all of the events run a little bit smoother and it will ensure them that they can sustainably continue this event and once again grow it to what it was in past times.

You can learn more about what the Festival Committee has planned for June 25th to July 1st on their website www.flinflontroutfestival.com.
