Hudbay released their first quarter 2022 results yesterday.  President Peter Kukielski reported the Triple Seven Mine in Flin Flon is within a month of closure and as development requirements wind down personnel and equipment are being redeployed at Lalor in Snow Lake as part of the Lalor ramp up strategy.  He outlined what’s happening in the Snow Lake area noting they are advancing their Snow Lake gold strategy with plans underway to achieve 53 hundred tonnes per day at Lalor by the end of the year.  He said they are also implementing their recovery improvement program at the Stall Mill this year to increase copper and gold recoveries as part of their Snow Lake gold strategy.  He added they will continue regional drilling in the Snow Lake area to explore for base metals and gold upside and they will continue to compile results from ongoing infill drilling programs at Lalor and 1901.

Kukielski also reported Hudbay is continuing to explore the concept to potentially reprocess the Flin Flon tailings in the future but it is too soon to set a time line on the results of that project.
