Manitoba public health reported 505 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the five day test positivity rate to 30.4 percent.  Of the new cases 193 are in Winnipeg and 163 in Prairie Mountain with much lower numbers in other regions including 42 in Northern health with 2952 cases reported as active including 82 in the Flin Flon, Snow Lake, Cranberry Portage, Sherridon district.  Of the total 120,644 confirmed cases 31,535 are active, 87,547 people have recovered and 735 are in hospital with 56 in intensive care.

Saskatchewan health reported 736 new cases bringing the seven day average of new cases to 1162.  Of the total 118,606 confirmed cases 12,208 are active, 105,406 people have recovered and 364 are in hospital with 42 in intensive care.  Far Northeast Two reports two new cases with the number of active cases remaining at 101.
