Manitoba public health reported 898 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the five day test positivity rate to 32.1 percent.  Of the new cases 430 are in Winnipeg with lower numbers in other regions including 117 in Northern health where 2728 cases are active with 72 of those in the Flin Flon, Snow Lake, Cranberry Portage, Sherridon district.  Of the total 118,862 confirmed cases in the province 29,720 are active, 87,599 people have recovered and 715 are in hospital with 52 in intensive care.

Saskatchewan health reported 1392 new cases bringing the seven day average of new cases to 1287.  Of the total 115,405 confirmed cases 12,685 are active, 101,733 people have recovered and 342 are in hospital.  Far Northeast Two reported 24 new cases with 101 cases reported as active.
