Manitoba public health reported 637 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the five day test positivity rate to 32.4 percent.  Of the new cases 303 are in Winnipeg with lower numbers in other regions including 106 in the Northern region where 3040 cases are active including 72 in the Flin Flon, Snow Lake, Cranberry Portage, Sherridon district.  Of the total 117,395 confirmed cases 39,933 are active, 75,938 people have recovered and 720 are in hospital with 49 in intensive care.  The outbreak has been declared over at the Thompson General Hospital obstetrics and neonatal unit.

Saskatchewan health reported 1194 new cases bringing the seven day average of new cases to 1248.  Of the total 112,693 confirmed cases 12,448 are active, 99,262 people have recovered and 315 are in hospital with 33 in intensive care.  Far Northeast Two reports seven new cases with 79 cases reported as active.
