Manitoba public health reported 637 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the five day test positivity rate to 32.9 percent.  Of the new cases 361 are in Winnipeg with lower numbers in other regions including 71 in Northern health where there are 2940 active cases with 60 of them in the Flin Flon, Snow Lake, Cranberry Portage, Sherridon district.  Of the total 116,770 confirmed cases 39,296 are active, 75,953 people have recovered and 729 are in hospital with 49 in intensive care.

Saskatchewan health reported 1049 new cases bringing the seven day average of new cases to 1247.  Of the total 111,447 confirmed cases 12,652 are active, 97,818 people have recovered and 291 are in hospital with 33 in intensive care. Far Northeast Two reports six new cases bringing the number of active case to 85.
