Manitoba public health reported 536 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the five day test positivity rate to 33.3 percent.  Of the new cases 266 are in Winnipeg with lower numbers in other regions including 82 in Northern health where 2914 cases are active with 55 of those in the Flin Flon, Snow Lake, Cranberry Portage, Sherridon district.  Of the total 116,133 confirmed cases in the province 38,691 are active, 75,927 people have recovered and 716 are in hospital with 49 in intensive care.

Saskatchewan health reports 909 new cases bringing the seven day average of new cases to 1256.  Of the total 110,399 reported cases 12,753 are active, 96,671 people have recovered and 262 are in hospital.  Far Northeast Two reports a jump in cases with 14 new cases with 80 reported to be active.
