Manitoba public health reported 851 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the five day test positivity rate to 33.2 percent.  Of the new cases 403 are in Winnipeg with lower numbers in other regions including 137 in Northern health where there are 2412 active cases with 46 of those in the Flin Flon, Snow Lake, Cranberry Portage Sherridon district.  Of the total 113,196 confirmed cases 35,742 are active, 75,969 people have recovered and 665 are in hospital with 50 in intensive care.

Saskatchewan health reports 1158 new cases bringing the seven day average of new cases to1269.  Of the total 105,072 confirmed cases 11,973 cases are active, 92,138 people have recovered and 215 are in hospital. Far Northeast Two reports 15 new cases with 41 cases now reported as active.
