Salvation Army Lieutenant Mark Burford reports they had a successful Christmas kettle and hamper program in the Flin Flon area. He explains the kettles were up from last year, they raised $24,810.30 on their kettles and this year the money from the kettles will be for their Christmas Hamper program as well as their other food programs throughout the year. He also noted this year at Christmas time they were able to give 152 hampers to families in need to give them a little more hope and joy over the Christmas season.
Lieutenant Burford added a big thank you to the community for their volunteers, the people who gave and everyone who supported their kettle program.
