Saskatchewan is Averaging 200 New Cases.

Saskatchewan health reported 293 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the seven day average of new cases to 200.  Of the total 83,855 confirmed cases 1645 are active, 81,259 people have recovered and 83 are in hospital.  Far Northeast Two subzone reports no new cases with three cases reported as active.

              They also report Omicron is present throughout the province.  Of the 824 cases screening positive for Omicron nearly 40 percent are in the Saskatoon zone, 27 percent are in Regina zone and the remaining 33 percent have been confirmed across the remaining zones with each zone having at least one Omicron case except for Far North Central . 83 percent of residents 12 years and older and 76 percent of residents five years and older are fully vaccinated.
