The Manitoba Government is Providing Financial Support for Businesses.

Economic Development and Jobs Minister Jon Reyes announced they will provide up to 22 million dollars in direct financial relief through the Sector Support Program to businesses impacted by the latest public health orders in the form of grants of up to 12 thousand dollars.  This includes dine in full service restaurants, bars, theatres, concert halls, museums, recreation and sports facilities, gyms, hotels and resorts at reduced capacity.  He notes financial support through this program will be scaled based on business size with grants based on the number of employees so eligible businesses will receive 3 thousand dollars if they have 1 to 9 employees, 6 thousand dollars if they have 10 to 19 employees, 9 thousand dollars if they have 20 to 29 employees and 12 thousand dollars if they have more than 50 employees.

Reyes adds the online assessment tool will be available on the Manitoba government website by the end of the holiday period until January 31st .
