Judges toured Denare Beach Friday evening to determine the best Christmas display in their Village of Lights. The best displays included Werbickis at 1805 Amisk Drive, Scotts at 800 Mosher Road, Gareaus at 2036 Spruce Street and Gilmores at 413-10th Avenue. Prizes were sponsored by the Village of Denare Beach and Rockyview.
Earlier in the Month the Town of Creighton awarded prizes for Christmas light displays. They went to Lyhkuns on Creighton Avenue, Klemmers on Collins Street and LaValleys on Bereskin Avenue. Prizes were sponsored by the North of 53 Co-op, Canadian Tire and Reliance and judging was done by members of the Creighton RCMP.
