Manitoba RCMP Remind Motorists to Drive Sober This Holiday Season.

The RCMP report from January 1st to November 30th this year 73 people lost their lives in 63 vehicle collisions across Manitoba.  Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in 21 of these collisions.  While they increase traffic enforcement over the holiday season they remind you impaired driving remains the leading criminal cause of death.

The RCMP ask you to report any suspected impaired drivers to your local police noting we can all work together to keep impaired drivers off the road.  As well take responsibility and make the smart choice to plan ahead and make your decisions while sober as those decisions are what will get you and other drivers on the road home safely.  They add stay safe on the road and make the smart choice when you pick up your keys.
