You Are Urged to Follow the Fundamentals as We Head Into the Holidays.

Manitoba Health Minister Audrey Gordon says she is concerned about the status of COVID-19 in the province.  She notes rising case counts and COVID-19 transmission in the province are placing increasing pressure on our health system adding case counts and hospitalizations are rising and Manitobans are encouraged to be proactive in protecting our health care system and to also help ensure we have hospital beds available to continue to provide care for patients in need.

Gordon adds although there are only six cases of Omicron identified in the province it is here but we are not helpless as long as we continue to follow public health orders, focus on the fundamentals with reduced gathering sizes and get vaccinated including your third shot especially as we head into the holidays.
