Winter Solstice will lead to an afternoon of events at the Creighton Sportex Sunday.  Recreation Director Channa Senyk reports they start at one o’clock and they’re having a sliding hill, hot dogs, hot chocolate for the first 150 people, they have a road hockey game going from 1 to 3 for 6 to 12 year olds and they’re reminding them to bring their hockey sticks, they have a celebrity smooshing at 2 pm with the media coming out, the RCMP and members of the Creighton Town Council, skating from 1 to 3, snow art, snow jug races, Freezie mountain, winter bowling and ending the wonderful afternoon with fireworks from the Flin Flon Fireworks Committee.
