Manitoba public health reported 164 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the five day test positivity rate to six percent.  Of the new cases 73 are in the Winnipeg region, 36 in Southern health and 28 in the Northern region with lower numbers in other regions.  There are 401 active cases in the Northern region.  Of the total 70,140 identified cases in the province 1724 are active, 67,061 people have recovered and 131 are in hospital with 34 in intensive care.

Saskatchewan health reported 47 new cases bringing the seven day average of new cases to 54.  Of the total 81,899 identified cases 545 are active, 80,413 people have recovered and 110 are in hospital with 34 in intensive care.  Far Northeast Two again reports no new cases and there are now no active cases in the district.
