Northland Ford will be holding a special promotion to help out people in need this Christmas season with the 10th annual Teddy Bear Toss tonight at the Flin Flon Bomber game, and the dealership’s Mike Slipp explains where the donations will be going.
“ All the donations we get go to the Salvation Army Christmas Cheer Program and the Friendship Centre Christmas Gift Program, so we encourage everybody to bring stuffed toys to the Bomber game tonight. As soon as the Bombers score that first goal we will make it rain teddy bears on the ice. The team will pick them up and we will put them in the back of the half ton. It is a big deal and the people of Flin Flon have always been generous and it has always been a great success.
If you can’t make it to the game tonight, feel free to drop of donations of stuffed animals or boxed toys to the dealership any time.
