Manitoba public health reported 172 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the five day test positivity rate to 5.1 percent.  Of the new cases 65 are in Southern health and 48 in Winnipeg with lower numbers in other regions including 27 in the Northern region where there are 274 active cases.  Of the total 68,166 identified cases 1356 are active, 65,486 people have recovered and 147 are in hospital with 24 in intensive care.

Saskatchewan health reports 71 new cases bringing the seven day average of new cases down to 68.  Of the total 81,145 identified cases 733 are active, 79,484 people have recovered and 134 are in hospital.  Far Northeast Two reports one new case with nine cases reported as active.
