The Not Fully Vaccinated Continue to Dominate Statistics in Manitoba While Transfers Continue From Saskatchewan to Ontario.

Manitoba public health reported 116 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the five day test positivity rate to 3.8 percent. 78 of those were not fully vaccinated. Of the new cases 46 are in the Southern region and 34 in the Northern region with lower numbers in other regions.  There are 471 active cases in the Northern region with the largest number 242 in the Norway House district.  Of the total 63,212 confirmed cases 1153 are active, 60,815 people have recovered and 82 are in hospital with 24 in intensive care.

             

Saskatchewan health reported 237 new cases bringing the seven day average of new cases to 218.  Of the total 77,067 confirmed cases 2398 are active, 73,826 people have recovered and 260 are in hospital.  Far North East Two again reports no new cases with active cases at 14. Saskatchewan continues to transfer ICU patients to Ontario with four today, three tomorrow and one each Saturday and Sunday.
