The Flin Flon School Board Heard a Lot of Good News from Across the School Division.

At Ruth Betts the grade 7/8 Mr. Dodds class have written letters to the Prime Minister regarding social issues in Flin Flon and the north.  Topics such as the environment and homelessness were some of the concerns the students felt should not be overlooked.  The grade threes have been learning about the Seven Sacred Teachings in Social Studies.  They also learn a new American Sign Language phrase each week.  The Family Room has been busy with an array of events including medicine bag making, nutrition bingo, cooking with a nutritionist and toddler yoga.

At Ecole McIssac students continue to immerse themselves in math, science, art, social studies, French immersion, cultural programming and extra-curricular activities.

Parents are asked to continue to self-screen your child before sending them to school using the Manitoba self screening tool https://www.gov.mb.ca/covid19/testing/index.html.  Please follow your child’s schools or the Divisions Facebook or websites to keep up to date on the latest happenings.
