Remember COVID Cautions as You Go Out on Halloween.

Manitoba Deputy Public Health Officer Dr. Jazz Atwal reminds you to follow the fundamentals to prevent the spread of COVID-19 on Halloween.  That includes stay home if you’re sick even if your symptoms are mild, washing or sanitizing your hands frequently, covering your cough, practicing physical distancing when you are with people outside of your household, wearing a mask in indoor spaces is required by public health orders and recommended outdoors when you cannot physically distance, trick or treat with a small group only, limit to household members or a few close friends you usually have social interactions with, avoid crowded indoor parties and follow current size limits, maintain a two meter distance from people outside of your group and take turns and wait until any group ahead of you has gone.

Atwal adds you can find more information on their website www.manitoba.ca/covid19.
