Operation Red Nose has announced its safe ride service will not be taking place this holiday season. They state since deploying the annual large scale service depends on the public health situation and other things the organization has no choice but to push the very appreciated service to next year. Their National Executive Director Anne-Marie Audet says the safety of their volunteers and clients is their priority.

In all circumstances Operation Red Nose and Safety Services Manitoba invite you to plan for a safe way to get home by calling a friend, a relative, a cab or designating a sober driver.                                    

Operation Red Nose is a non-profit organization that promotes responsible behavior to help prevent impaired driving.  They provide a volunteer chauffer service with donations received from passengers distributed to help fund local youth and amateur sports initiatives.  In Flin Flon Operation Red Nose has been operated by the local Rotary Club through December.
