Lions Members Were Honored By Their Club.

The Flin Flon Lions Club held their annual Charter and Awards Night Wednesday with all attending required to be fully vaccinated.  District Governor Chris Miles from the MacGregor Lions Club spoke on his theme following up on how COVID affected club activities in the community Restart Your Passion For Service which tags on to the International President’s theme Service From The Heart.  He explained for him service is most often where you find it.  Most often it may not look like service, it might look more like potential drudgery but when you can see that your work has created a good thing, a smile, a laugh in your community and a real sense of well being with yourself that’s when you realize that there’s power in service and that you’ve got enough power in yourself to just do it.

Key and Diamond Centennial Membership Awards for sponsoring new members were presented to John and Debbie Kuzub, Hope Medals from the Lions Foundation of Manitoba and Northwest Ontario to Neal Dimick, Jan Nikkel and Lisa Tower and Judge Brian Stevenson Awards from the Lions Foundation of Canada to Ken Tetreault and Doreen Gabler with another to be received by Kristina Tetreault.
