Reported COVID Cases in Manitoba are Approaching 62 Thousand While New Cases in Saskatchewan Drop Below 300.

Manitoba public health reported 107 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the five day test positivity rate to 3.8 percent.  Of the new cases 45 are in the Northern health region bringing the total of active cases to 355 with the larger numbers in the Norway House and Cree Nation district with 149 and Pukatawagan Mathias Colomb Cree Nation district with 118.  Of the total 61,900 reported cases in the province 962 are active and 59,712 people have recovered with 93 in hospital and 17 in intensive care.

             

Saskatchewan health reported 293 new cases bringing the seven day average of new cases to 418.  Of the total 73,350 reported cases 4294 are active, 68,287 people have recovered and 335 are in hospital.  Far North East Two reports six new cases bringing their total of active cases to 59.
