Activities Are Keeping Students Busy in Flin Flon School Division.

The Flin Flon School Board met this past Tuesday evening where Superintendent Tammy Ballantyne reported there is a lot happening.

             

At Many Faces the Tower Garden is underway growing a variety of produce and herbs. 

             

At Ruth Betts the daily breakfast and lunch program continue.  Teachers are finding creative ways to keep social distance while providing the best learning environment whether its gym class, music, band or extra-curricular programs. The Terry Fox Walk raised over five hundred and sixty dollars for the Terry Fox Foundation through guess the number of candies in the jar, bubble gum and popcorn sales.  The Family Room has re-opened following guidelines set by Manitoba’s Restoring Safe Schools COVID-19 Education Plan.

             

Over at Ecole McIsaac School students are immersed in math, science, art, health, English language arts, social studies, wellness, cultural programming and a variety of extra-curricular activities.

             

Parents and caregivers are asked to keep up to date with everything happening in the Division on your child’s school or the Division’s Facebook page and websites.
