Reported Cases Have Topped 61 Thousand in Manitoba While COVID and Flu Shots are Available at One Visit in Saskatchewan.

Manitoba public health reported 102 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the five day test positivity rate to 3.8 percent.  Of the new cases 27 were in Winnipeg, 24 each in Prairie Mountain and Southern health and 17 in Northern health where there are 197 active cases.  Of the total 61,038 reported cases 845 are active, 58,980 people have recovered and 94 are in hospital with 18 in intensive care.

             

Saskatchewan residents are able to begin booking appointments to receive this year’s flu vaccine and if needed can book at the same time for the COVID vaccine.  You can book online at www.4flu.ca or call 1-833-787-5829.  Saskatchewan health reported 242new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the seven day average of new cases to 427.  Of the total 69,331 reported cases 4385are active, 64,220people have recovered and 340 are in hospital. Far North East Two reported no new cases with their number of active cases at 57.
