Activities and Programs are Well Underway in Flin Flon Schools.

At their regular meeting this pat Tuesday the Flin Flon School Board reported parents of children ages 12 to 18 will be or have already received a voluntary declaration of vaccine status.  This supports the work of the Division administration in the event there is a positive case within a class or cohort. There is also plenty of news from within the schools. Some highlights from Ruth Betts were the junior high students participating in Student Vote which is a national program equipped to educate students in the democratic process.  At Ecole McIsaac students and teachers were very busy with a variety of programs including essential skills, engaged learners, cultural programming, kick start band clinics, resource and recovery learning, wellness and lots of extra-curricular activities.  At Many Faces night school is off and running.  Classes are held Tuesday and Wednesday evenings with no provincial exams this year.  More are welcome to attend.  Call 687-6354 to register for grade 12 math in Semester one and Grade 12 English in semester two.
