Manitoba public health reported 67 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the five day test positivity rate to 2.3 percent.  Of the new cases 28 were in Southern health with lower numbers in other regions including five in Northern health four of which were not fully vaccinated bringing active cases to 73.  The Flin Flon, Snow Lake, Cranberry Portage, Sherridon district reported nine active cases. Of the total 59,944 reported cases in the province 496 are active, 58,241 people have recovered and 68 are in hospital with 14 in intensive care.            

Saskatchewan health reported 460 new cases bringing the seven day average of new cases to 470. Of the total 63,875 reported cases 4715 are active, 58,502 people have recovered and 273 are in hospital.  Far North East Two that includes Creighton, Flin Flon Saskatchewan, Denare Beach, Pelican Narrows, Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation and Sandy Bay reports seven new cases bringing the total of active cases to 129.
