The NorVa Centre is holding the grand opening of their Square Foot Exhibition and Auction tonight. Their Fund Raising Chair Cindy McLean explains it’s an exhibition where you can come in and bid on local art so you can pop down into NorVa during their regular hours, bid on any piece of art you would like, phone in to keep track of your piece so if someone’s bid on something you can definitely phone in and they can write down you bid for you. She adds they’re really excited and hoping that the community supports them and comes in to bid and attends the grand opening noting as for Manitoba COVID restrictions proof of vaccination and masks are required when we enter the NorVa Centre.
The Grand Opening is at 7 tonight at the NorVa Centre at 177 Green Street. The month long silent auction will be followed by the live auction for selected pieces that takes place on Sunday, October 17th at 2 pm.
