Manitoba public health reported 70 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the five day test positivity rate to 2.2 percent.  Of the new cases 28 were in Winnipeg and 24 in Southern health with lower numbers in other regions including two in Northern health which has 126 active cases.  There are 11 active cases in the Flin Flon, Snow Lake, Cranberry Portage, Sherridon district.  Of the total 59,880 reported cases 592 are active, 58,081 people have recovered and 73 are in hospital with 15 in intensive care.

Saskatchewan health reported 426 new cases bringing the seven day average of new cases to 467. There were eight new cases reported in Far North East Two which includes Creighton, Flin Flon Saskatchewan, Denare Beach, Pelican Narrows, Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation and Sandy Bay bringing the total active cases to 137.  Of the total 63,415 reported cases in the province 4706 are active, 58,058 people have recovered and 265 are in hospital.
