COVID Recoveries Have Passed 58 Thousand in Manitoba While Non-Vaccinated People Dominate Hospital Admissions in Saskatchewan.

Manitoba public health reported 66 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the five day test positivity rate to 2.3 percent.  Of the new cases 21 were in Southern health, 17 in Winnipeg, 11 each in Prairie Mountain and Northern health and six in Interlake Eastern. The Flin Flon, Snow Lake, Cranberry Portage, Sherridon district reports 13 active cases.  Of the total 59, 822 reported cases 607 are active, 58,009 people have recovered and 71 are in hospital with 14 in intensive care.

             

Saskatchewan health reported 3320 new cases from September 15th to 21st bringing the seven day average of new cases to 474.  2526 recoveries were reported over the same time, Far North East Two reports 11 new cases with 145 active.  The total reported cases in the province stands at 62,989 with 262 people in hospital with 54 in intensive care and 193 or 74 percent of the people in hospital are not fully vaccinated.
